Position Summary:
Total Nutrition Technology is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Staff Accountant II to join our growing Finance team. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close activities, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
The ideal candidate has strong accounting experience, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and post journal entries.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Analyze general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.
  • Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules.
  • Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
  • Assist with inventory accounting and manufacturing cost analysis.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing requested documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Review and reconcile payroll-related accounting entries.
  • Prepare sales tax and other regulatory filings, as assigned.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Purchasing, and Supply Chain to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
  • Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of inventory and cost accounting is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP.
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite experience preferred).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in dietary supplements, food manufacturing, or GMP-regulated industries.
  • Experience supporting audits.
  • Knowledge of internal controls and financial reporting.
  • Experience with budgeting and financial analysis.
